Hi Vilmondes, obrigada por comentar. O segundo exemplo trata-se de um phrasal verb, que é um verbo + uma partícula. O verbo WORK, você deve conhecer, significa TRABALHAR, certo? Porém quando adiciono o OUT aí, o significado muda. Neste caso WORK OUT significa exercitar-se, malhar.
Portanto procure pelo tema Phrasal Verbs para estudar. Procuro estudá-los aos poucos, porque são muitos, ok?
Olá! Parabéns!
Esse post me gerou uma dúvidaa respeito dos exemplos:
– Keep on running
– keep on working out
– keep on moving.
Por que foi necessário o uso do “out” no segundo exemplo? Por o que eu devo procurar para estudar essa questão do uso do “up” e “out” depois de algumas palavras?
Obrigado!
Hi Carlos, thanks for stopping by and sharing your example with us.
Hey Marco, you’re welcome!
When you start study english it’s very hard work, everything is chaotic, but once you get going and you see results you want to keep on studying more and more.
Hi Ira,
Thanks for other examples, you’re very kind.
Hi Marco,
Thanks for sharing your example. Just take a look at how “once you get going” is used.I’m posting some more examples from Twitter,so you can have a better idea, ok?
1- Once you get going, though… you’ll
be soooo happy!
2- Once you get going, you’ll be fine!
3- It’s great once you get going – meet so many interesting people & also gr8 to keep up on news!
4- Don’t be daft (bobo), you’ll be fine once you get going.
And “keep on studying hard” is an excellent option. Never give it up!;)
Hi Ira,
Pretty nice toppic! I’ve learned a bunch!
I´ve just done a statement bellow:
Once you get going to study English you must
keep on hard studying when you almost give up slowing down then choose
something you like, as your favorite tv serie, songs… in this way you can study and get some fun!
Thanks a lot!
