“Hope springs eternal”, is it the same as “while there’s life there’s hope”?
Thank you very much,
Hi guys,
The proverb “it takes two to tango” corresponds to the proverb “quando um não quer dois não brigam” in Portuguese. It’s also used to say that two people or groups, and not just one, are responsible for something that has happened (usually something bad)
If you translate it literally into Portuguese you’re going to notice that what the sentence is saying is: “é necessário dois para dançar tango”
I loved that quiz. I know that I did some mistakes, and coudn’t undestand about “tango”, but out of that, everything were good to learn.
Thanks a lot!
